Kelly D. Williams holds a PhD from Emory University, where she specialized in Renaissance literature. Her current research focuses on XR pedagogies (augmented and virtual realities) and the impact of emerging technologies on multimodal communication and student engagement. Kelly is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech where she teaches composition courses centered around themes of STEM history. She has published scholarship in the journal Shakespeare and the edited volume, Inclusive Shakespeares: Identity, Pedagogy, Performance.
